 So Rees and I travelled from London Gatwick, and with slightly awkward flight times we picked up a Mexican snack at the airport. Our flight was delayed, so we were thankful for Armadillo's filling food! We went with Thomson, mainly due to their good deals on packages and the hotels they have available. Arriving in the early hours of Saturday morning we went straight to bed to get a few hours kip before rising the next morning.

 After enjoying the buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, smoothies, fry ups and cereal we went for a wander to get our bearings around the resort. It was smaller than we had imagined but provided the ultimate laid-back and chilled holiday we were looking for. Turquoise seas, cactuses and sweet little souvenir shops created the Ibiza vibe and I fell in love immediately. 

We stopped for a bite of lunch and both opted for 'toast' which was a bruschetta type creation. Salmon, avocado and tomatoes on toasted french bread.. Yes, it was as delicious as it sounds! I wore what quickly became my holiday uniform, a loose fit shirt and shorts with birks- uber comfortable and chilled. We then headed back to get our tan on and relax by the pool until the evening.

  After the buffet dinner, which admittedly isn't something I was looking forward to we headed out for the sunset and wandered down to the sea which looked stunning under the setting sun.
