OOTD: simple and chic

Shirt: H&M | Necklace: Smash Glam* | Trousers: H&M | Shoes: Simmi Shoes* | Clutch: Primark

The pointed toe is a trend I'm really loving this season and although it isn't necessarily the most comfortable of trends I think it's really flattering and refreshing to see. When Simmi Shoes said I could pick a pair from their website I was instantly drawn to these faux suede boots (among a lot of others!). Now they might not be the most practical shoe for a lazy student who rarely wears heels but they're just so beautiful and they're the kind of shoe I wish I could wear more often. I think they'll be perfect for meals out and special occasions where I need a bit of height but don't want a platform. I wanted to contrast the suede with leather and opted for my H&M faux leather pants which, I'm not going to lie, are very tight. And also very long. First World problems of a short girl. I've been searching for the right pair of leather trousers for so long that I've now realised none are going to be the perfect fit and compromised. Keeping to the monochrome theme I wore my favourite shirt, a loose and baggy white cotton shirt from H&M which is so versatile and I love! To glam the simple outfit up, I styled it with this gorgeous statement necklace from Smash Glam. I thought the deep greens and blues were perfect for Autumn and it sits perfectly under an unbuttoned shirt. I can't get enough of simple, chic outfits at the moment and I seem to be completely avoiding pattern.
