OOTD: flower girl

Jacket: River Island | Top: Primark | Shorts: Zara | Clutch: Primark | Shoes: Missguided

I love this outfit... it's a subtle way of wearing pink and flowers and not feeling too much like a little girl. When I saw this jacket in the ASOS sale I knew I had to buy it. It had been in my saved items for ages and for £30 I thought it was a steal. When it arrived I was just as much in love with it but still a little unsure of what to wear it with and still ensure I didn't look like I was going to a wedding or trying too hard. Then my lovely boyfriend came round with this Primark top as a little treat and I thought the two went perfectly together. As the jacket is pink and white I think it'll look best with white shorts/jeans/skirts so I teamed it with these old Zara shorts of mine. I had planned on throwing them out recently but they're a nice fit and a bit of a change from all of my other high waisted items, and they cover up the bum so I could get away with them for work this Summer. Ideally, I would have worn this outfit with white heels but as I'm still on the hunt for the perfect pair at the perfect price I had to compromise and wore my black ones. I don't feel like it ruins the outfit but they just don't really fit in. Oh well, hopefully I'll find some cheap white heels soon, anywhere I should be looking?? As the top was quite sheer as well I thought rather than having to wear a cami underneath I'd wear a pretty bra. I'm obviously not going to show you my bra but I picked it up in TK Maxx the other day for £5.99 and it's the prettiest white lace non padded bra... super comfy but not massively supportive.
