OOTD: full on floral

Denim Jacket: H&M | Vest: Primark | Trousers: Boohoo | Heels: New Look (similar here)

So I'm back at uni and it's raining so these photos are taken inside my tiny room and pretty awful quality. Sorry about that!

Even though it was raining outside I wanted to bring a bit of colour to the outfit and went full on floral! I bought these trousers from Boohoo last year and only wore them a couple of times as they're kind of bold! I thought I'd bring them out again and feel the Summery vibes. They're a scuba material like a lot of pieces this season so they fit great and are really soft and comfy. I wore it with this Primark vest and old H&M denim jacket to keep warm and finally paired it with these New Look platform heels. They're the closest I'm going to get to the gorgeous cleated platform heels from Jeffrey Campbell at the moment as the student life has left me skint!

Sorry again for the crap quality photos, hopefully the next ones will be better!

Liebster Award

So, it's different kind of post for today. First of all, thank you for the nomination from the lovely Emily Instone from Closet Curiosity. The award is a great way to help get new bloggers out there!

The rules:

Thank the blogger who nominated you
Answer 11 questions the blogger has asked
List 11 facts about yourself
Create 11 questions for your nominees to answer
Nominate 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers

The questions:

What watch are you sporting this season?
I've been wearing my Olivia Burton hummingbird watch every day. I love the design and have got my eye on a few of their other watches!

What is your prime piece of clothing for Summer 2014?
I think my white jeans are going to be my most worn item this Summer as I already can't stop wearing them. They go with everything and keep you warm and cool.

     Favourite make-up range? Why?
I don't know if I'd say I have a favourite make-up range because I like to try different products but I think Benefit's products are just unbeatable really. They're not the cheapest but they are such good quality and are a bit more exciting than the average make-up brand.

What do you do for a living?
I'm currently a student so I don't have a job.

Which fashion capital do you desire to visit the most? Why?
I'm desperate to go to New York. I've always wanted to go, for both the sights and the shopping!

Photograph the most timeless and classic item in your wardrobe? Can be either accessories, clothes or shoes.
It's got to be the trench coat. It just never goes out of fashion.

     Favourite high street store?
Topshop. Every time.

Which piece of jewellery do you prefer to wear necklace, bracelet or ring?
I prefer to wear rings. I'm not a massive jewellery person but I wear rings every day.

Link the most interesting/favourite photograph you have ever taken?
This isn't necessarily the most interesting photograph or my favourite but it's from my trip to Iceland where I went January this year and I just have such good memories of this holiday with my family.

Photograph your favourite pair of shoes?
ASOS Harrow sandals

What inspired you to become a blogger?

OOTN: dark florals

Playsuit: Missguided | Clutch: Primark | Shoes: ASOS

Just a quick post showing my outfit from a night out recently. With the british weather being typically cold I didn't want too much skin on show so went for a long sleeved playsuit. This Missguided one is darker in colours so is more night time appropriate than some and is comfy and a great fit. I'd definitely recommend!

OOTD: Spring colours

Jeans: Topshop | Vest: Primark | Top: Forever 21 | Clutch: Dorothy Perkins | Coat: Missguided | Shoes: ASOS

Another day without the Sun resulted in me wearing trousers again! Surprise surprise I'm wearing Topshop's Joni jeans. This is my go to jean because the fit is just so comfortable, they cinch in the waist and I prefer to wear high waisted trousers, hence why I own them in 3 colours and wish it was more! I wore them with this Forever 21 beauty from last year. The colours in this top are just beautiful and fit in great to the coral trend as well as pastels. I paired them with my fave ASOS sandals (I'll buy some new shoes soon I promise!) and my lilac coat. These colourful goodies meant I felt Spring ready even though I had no skin on show!

OOTD: very casual

Top: Primark | Leggings: Miss Selfridge | Shirt: Gul | Bag: Vintage | Shoes: ASOS

Apologies for the awful pale skin, feeling a bit rough and the flash didn't help. I didn't venture out the house today so this outfit is very casual and simple. I mixed textures and prints with a gingham shirt, dogtooth leggings and embossed t shirt. I really focused on comfort, including the shoes (any excuse to get the holographic skaters out again). It started raining as we began taking photos too but hopefully tomorrow I'll offer you a better outfit and better photos!

OOTD: Easter Monday

Top: New Look | Skirt: Primark | Shoes: ASOS | Jacket: Miss Selfridge | Sunglasses: River Island

After the rainy day on Easter Sunday I was pleased to see the Sun shining on the Monday. I opted for this white textured midi skirt to still keep my legs fairly warm and paired it with this gingham crop from New Look. I didn't think I'd be a fan of this style on me but I actually really like it and I'm looking for a few more tops this shape. To make sure I didn't get cold I threw on my (fake) leather jacket as you can't go wrong with a simple black jacket. Of course, I wore my ASOS strappy sandals to give me a little bit of extra height with the midi skirt and the pink just adds a nice amount of subtle colour.
